
Introductory sessions
Session 1 (19.02.2024)
On February 19, 2024 @BOOST project Polish partners Jerzy Buriak and Dorota Zarek from the University of Applied Sciences in Elblag held the first session on updating existing educational courses and creating a new course “Student-centred approaches for blended learning”. The lecturers presented information on how to apply high quality course materials on Moodle platforms, personalize learning tasks, use tasks with a time limit and exercise scenarios for students, follow academic integrity in online learning.
The participants of the meeting also shared their experience in tasks’ personalization and how to save time when checking students’ assignments.




Session 2 (01.03.2024)
One of the BOOST project’s objectives is to help the UA universities update 10 of their educational courses according to European standards and best teaching practices, and design a new interactive Moodle course that deals with student-centred approaches for blended learning.
A series of the intorductory sessions on the course syllabus development will be held in February and March 2024. Diring these sessions the EU lecturers Dorota Zarek, Jerzy Buriak (Poland), Olga Burdakova (Estonia), Sonja Rutar, Andreja Klančar, and Sonja Čotar Konrad (Slovenia) will share their knowledge and experience with teachers from Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University, Izmail State University of Humanities, Kremenets Taras Shevchenko Regional Academy of Humanities and Pedagogy, and Mukachevo State University.
We truly believe that launching one new and 62 updated courses will improve Ukrainian graduates’ employability and competitiveness at the job market.




Session 3 (12.03.2024)
On March 12, 2024 the final introductory session on course syllabus development with Viktoriia Kravchenko an Associate Professor at English and German Philology Department of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University was held.
Victoria shared insights on syllabus design within the MultiEd project, covering syllabus key components and highlighting changes necessary to provide. She stressed the importance of reviewing syllabi with both internal and external reviewers. Thanks to this session, BOOST UA partners from 6 Ukrainian universities are now equipped to adapt domestic syllabi to meet the EU Commission's requirements. Exciting times ahead!



Session 4 (22.03.2024)
BOOST Project partners from 6 UA universities were happy to join an additional introductory session on course syllabus development with Lesia Lysenko, PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism, Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, on March 22, 2024, online.
Lesia was sharing the syllabus of the course "Info-Media Literacy and Critical Thinking" designed for Bachelor students within the MultiEd Project. She also provided general recommendations on how to design the main components of a course syllabus, including learning objectives and outcomes, generic and specific competencies, assessment criteria, correlation matrix, and reference list.
Additionally, the participants discussed the importance of following guidelines from European Union on the e-course development kindly provided by Svitlana Shytikova and National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine & HERE team.
